Case # 61 , The Lameness Connection received this horse Sept 14th , 2006. Both feet six weeks later; simple treatment and wrapping, care as necessary and stall rest. Lameness improved gradually, relevant to stall rest. Healed sufficiently to apply reverse shoe to allow us to observe healing in toe area and treat as necessary. Lameness dramatically improved with application of shoes.

Case # 61 X rays taken Nov 6, 2006 shows increased distance between coffin bone and ground surface. Also pictures taken Nov 20th show feet healing well. Regular shoes applied with slight rocker. Lameness not noticeable.
Veterinarian released case #61 to go home to Florida.
Case # 61 is not always an example of how Laminitis progresses. As many will tell you , It can be very bad. However in # 61's case this was an example of what can happen when Farrier / Vet / Owner, work closely together following Vet instructions.
