“ALL” shoeing by The Lameness Connection for lame horses is STRICTLY done under supervision of the attending veterinarian. Since each lame horse is usually different in some way as to its prescribed requirements, prices are estimated based on each horse’s prescription and are subject to time spent and distance traveled. Evaluations, consultations, and any time other than “usual Farrier services”, are based on a rate of $75.00 per hour. These are simply guide lines; we try to be fair and consistent in our pricing.

We don't consider ourselves to be the best [horses will keep you humble], however, make no mistake; we do consider ourselves “committed”, fully, to each and every horse we work on.

The Lameness Connection has a facility available to those horses that can be hauled to us. We are located in the Anna Texas area. Anna is just north of McKinney Texas and we are east of Anna approximately 6 miles from Highway 75.

Basic care and boarding begins at $25 per day. This fee does not include any farrier services.  The fee for care and boarding may be more, depending on each horse’s requirements at time of treatment.

Our facility is in close proximity to 2 Veterinary Clinics that we work closely with.

Most of our work is done by “Vet” referral only or we accept some clients/owners with the understanding that we only work under the close supervision of the attending Veterinarian to the individual horse.
